Holistic Horsemanship and Personal Growth Program

CONNECTION | COMMUNICATION | CONFIDENCE

This program exists to relieve the educational disadvantage and social disengagement experienced by homeschooled, unschooled, or educationally excluded teenagers. It addresses the compounding disadvantage of young people who lack access to mainstream schooling, peer socialisation, and structured skill development. The program delivers life skills such communication foundations, awareness of self and others and increased confidence and social skills through horse-based experiential learning.

LEARNING AREAS: Health/Science/Literacy/Social Emotional Learning

Create a bond of trust, respect, and understanding between horse and human using Equine Guided Learning.

Participants will learn:

  • self awareness skills

  • effective and respectful communication

  • body language and nervous system education

  • horse behaviour and psychology

  • Youth age 12 to 18

  • 4 - 6 participants

  • 2 hour sessions

  • 8 week program

  • $120 per session
